@touchofsky--Valerie, that's good to know about BLUE VIPER. Apart from the hybridizers photo, I have only seen a picture of it in Germany and it wasn't such a great picture so I decided to buy something else instead but liked the idea of the cross.

Might look again at getting the plant itself when I get a bigger garden.

I work from home so hopefully I can see them blooming - I know I'll be obsessing over the front and back yards. Believe it or not I still have about 6 more fans to get into pots and about 10 perennials but the weather has been muggy and I just got back from Dallas. I want one weekend to rest

I can't wait until next year. That's the motivation for keeping the work going without seeing many results, other than the huge fans that have been growing all season (in back they're big; the front ones obviously just went in → turns out the squirrels are digging them up, so I have to deal with them before the season ends).

The bulbs I ordered will be here soon too. I should stay away from the LA until the ground freezes.

Ordered new shelving units for my seedling pots and got OH seriously worried when I started eyeing up a grow tent for my cellar!
