Next and my last order of 2016..I think. This one comes from The Shady Spot Iris. I can thank @lestv and her Burseen addiction and influence for this order. Judy Schneider is one of my favorites too and the quality is outstanding as well

I think I now have around 50 Keith Keppel irises

Now I'm at 21. I can safely say I have 4 more stops in 2017. I love Mego's, Keppel's, and I'd be a fool to not order from Iris sisters, Sutton's and possibly Winterberry. Les, I might have to PayPal you some $$$ to get me a Stout intro.

Plot twist. Anyone offering gifts I've asked for littles if possible.
Gimme it and I'll grow it!

Beaumont Ridge will do a buy it now event soon, and the website should be up this year.

Not a problem Gabe, tree mail me what you want. And great order at Judy's. Not that I am partial or anything, or have most of those in my garden or anything..... Whistling

I will be placing a Stout order, and a Superstition order, and possibly adding to my Shady Spot order. Besides that I am going to be thrifty this year. And come spring I may pick up a few at Thelma's while I am there weeding.

So, 'thrifty'... does that mean more or less than 100? Big Grin

Very nice order, Gabe! I have Friendly Advice on order too and would have several of those Burseen on my list as well if they were available here... Guess that is a good way to be 'thrifty'? Whistling

I just checked my list. I have 69 Keppels. He's a fave.

Revision. I just realized that the Database included those in my want list! -and I went through the list and found 9 Keppel wants among my haves.( I want at least 2 new Keppel intros, but I haven't added them to my list).
So it appears that I currently have 60 Keppels.

Hee. Lilli, thrifty is under 100 for once. I will be mostly buying Burseens and medians. Last year the bonuses led me far astray. I would consider a couple more LA's but that depends on Pigs Can Fly. Not available this year so next year?

Well, I'm trying to keep the numbers down... I don't have all of last year's in the ground, and about 10 for the year before... I've got a new wall on the front slope going in as soon as my rock guy can work on it.. I'm hoping that will take care of most of the 2016's..

I've got orders in with Shady Spot and Iris Sisters.. 14 doesn't sound too bad, right? Although there are must haves from Keppel, Superstition, and Ghio.. just for starters... sigh...

From Shady Spot:
Barbara Jean
Cowabunga (poss. match for a NOID)
Daughter of Stars (why didn't I have this sooner?)
Izitme Orisitu
Joy
Rosy Forecast
Snow Day
Spare the Stare

from Iris Sisters:
Chasing Destiny
Deviliciouos
Frill of it All
Gathering Gold
Ride the Waves
Samba Queen

No doubt I'll add more...

Adding more is half the fun! Hilarious!

Still pondering if (haha!) I mean _what_ to add to my Tempo Two order... Whistling

My Laymont order is all done and I'll post it very soon. I'm still working on the Bianco order, the Mid America order is almost ready and I am thinking about ordering from Chailey and Cayeux too...

I think I might have to move... Big Grin

Oh my! Do you know if these are just seedlings coming down the pike, or are they going to be introduced this year?

I just placed my order with Judy today, too. That's my third for the season, so far, and I have two more "ready"...waiting for the "day". So far....even though I said all I was going to order was "replacements"......25 replacements out of 49 ordered *Blush* .

YIKES!! Check out http://www.bluejiris.com. They're picking up this year and moving from Nebraska to Texas!! They are in the process of posting 1200 2/1 iris for sale. They're prices have gone up 0.50 or more on every iris. A lot of historics are listed as "last year". But the list isn't complete yet. They open Jan 1st for orders.

Stout opens Dec 16 at 8 PM. And I jumped in and placed my first order with Judy, mostly historics I didn't have and one replacement for a last year goner .

They're moving to El Paso?! Blinking I lived there for years and loved it. Longer season, yes, but gets hotter than a oven in hell. They'll have a rough rocky terrain and crap earth to deal with there, mixed with purple obsidian glass/rock everywhere. I wish them nothing but the best.

On their site II see where their mailing address has changed, but can't find mention of a 2/1 sale or if they are moving the iris to Texas. Do I have an outdated link?
