Well, their home page still states that they ship to all of Europe, but when trying to check out, the only option for shipping is France - so I emailed them, hoping the latter is a mistake - waiting for their reply...

I email Roland at Laymont and he replies quite quickly, so I think that's the best approach. I'm pretty sure he still ships to Europe because my last order is to be shipped either to France or to England, depending on where we are at the time the rhizomes are ready (my life could be less complicated!)

Yes, unfortunately my resolution to limit myself to 20 rhizomes was optimistic... Piatek has some amazing smokey tones that I absolutely love - I've ordered some from Les Iris de Laymont (with others) and Robert Piatek has promised to send me his catalogue, so I may well order some of his most recent introductions too. And then there's Kat Zalewska, perhaps a few more Biancos, Tempo Two, Mid America... yikes!

I have maybe a very few that I would like to get (because, room to plant them; I'm already overflowing with pots): that lovely blue iris that everyone was raving about (? 'Serene Silence'), also 'Triffid', and I forget what all else I wanted.

I think that I would like 'Winterberry' too, though. (They were sold out last year.)



No ordering for me, though, until after New Year's!

I begged myself into Winterberry this year. There should be some available next year as they were building up stock.

Just got an email! It _is_ a mistake! He'll get it fixed asap and told me to go ahead and order by adding 'Denmark' in the comment box - so that's one more order for next year all done!!

Saying I'm not sending in any orders until after Jan. 1 is like saying I'm not going to have a drink until after noon. We are all in so deep! Oh well planting irises is not hazardous to our health.

Planting iris after a few drinks could be hazardous to your health if you take a tumble. And that tumble could be hazardous to the iris's health! A vicious cycle for sure.

Just don't use the tiller!

Oh yeah, I made another order and didn't stick to my guns. This year I was to order only 10 rhizomes tops ...THAT AIN'T HAPPENING.
