Anything over 82 (arbitrary number) is too hot for me. What instrument will you play, Anna? What a nice diversion.

We went to Progreso yesterday with some friends. I bought this for my sunroom back home but hung it on the front of the RV. Bought a light for it and now I have a Christmas decoration. We'll take it home with us when we go back for the Christmas holiday. Here it is when it got dark tonight.

We got back to Wisconsin late last Thursday afternoon. The SU had to make a stop at Menards to get a couple things, and I went to WM to get some grocery items, since we ate everything up before we left in November.

The trip back will prove to be very interesting since the kitties will be in the back seat in their pet tube. I am expecting the worst but hoping to be pleasantly surprised by that 3 day ordeal. LOL We will be leaving the 4th or 5th of January. Have to have the rental car back by 8 am on Jan. 8th.

RV living for 3 weeks in those close quarters has not precipitated any thoughts of divorce or smothering with a pillow during the night; probably due to my baking keeping me occupied and either staying in bed till 9 or lounging in front of the TV for him. Hope that doesn't change much till April. If I have a need for some space I go ride my bicycle around the RV park. We are at the fartherst end from the main entrance/office..........it's a mile up there according to "Map my Ride" app on my phone. I hope we can get connected with the bicycle group at the park. Haven't had time to do that but will when we get back.

Golly, nobody has had anything to say for 2 1/2 months?????

Time is getting short for us here in Texas. The plan is to leave on Monday morning. That is dependent on the weather here. The forecast is for "possible'' heavy rain on Sunday. If that happens and the SU can't get some of his outside prep done, we might hold off till Tuesday.

A couple of weeks ago I asked him "does it seem like we have been here for 3 months?" He said "not really."

We have had a wonderful time here in Texas. We went to South Padre for one last time this afternoon, spending 4 hours on our beach chairs, soaking up the sun and listening to the waves on the shore. Hubby brought one of his kites and he flew that for a little while.

Our cats have behaved wonderfully and had no problems adjusting to RV living. I think they were so grateful that they were with their humans they did not misbehave and risk being left behind again. Hilarious! We didn't use the crates we brought along that we had intended to put them in outside to alleveiate boredom and give them a change of scenery.

The park had many activities....you could be as busy as you wanted to be. We only went to a bunch of the Wednesday potlucks, Sunday church services, hubby went on some of the motorcycle rides with people from the park. I only went on 2.

We have our spot reserved for next season, so I guess, like Arnold....."we'll be back........."

Sounds great Anna!
Maybe next time you will need 4 months
I think as it warms this thread will get busy again.
We have not camped locally since winter
I am on the bunt for a few plant nurseries and then going back to the RV to wash it and the motorhome.
I also will be experiencing our first move AFTER we moved in and so I have no idea what or how to put things up . The cabinets are glass fronted.. i know I will empty those.... but the medicine chest?? Will the fridge stay closed. .. i have to read up for monday.

Rosie, we HAVE been here for 4 months. I asked him this 2 or 3 weeks ago when we were too lazy to get out of bed and were gabbing. No, we will not stay for 5 months, as the SU helps neighbors with field work in spring and fall. He is too dependable. LOL

I turned the mailbox key in this morning...... Sighing!

We didn't do any winter traveling this year. Not sure where we are headed with RV. Might sell the Class C and downsize to a pop-up tent trailer with the idea to stay mostly in cabins but still have an overnight rig for moving from point A to B. We'll see.

The RV park held a big shindig with a fire. I dont know WHAT they started the fire with ....but it permeated everything and I have been wheezing and hacking ever since. They should stick to donut or pizza night 😣

Anna do you camp along the way home? We only have one stop in saint augustine ( half way ) and we go to a hotel..I would like to try out different RV parks for the night just for future reference for longer stays with the class B .. but each of the 3 times we had vacation planned at the towable RV..we hauled so much stuff down getting it ready, we could not open the bed in the class B. I think we are about done with all that and so maybe we will put in for the Night in RV parks. It is a really fast abd quick hook up because we shower in the campground facilities and use their bathrooms. We just need electric
