We had RAT rats last year. I will never discount the possibility of rat rats.

Running to Aldi myself tomorrow

There is an Aldi in Frederick, on 40, less than a mile from Dutch Plant Farm.

Went to DPF yesterday afternoon, Mike wasn't there, but the cashier texted w him for me...

Dutch Plant Farms will give you a 10% discount off any non-sale item if you mention NGA discount (possible you might need to say Dave's Garden if the relayed message got confused). If you are getting $25-$50 worth of non-sale items, use the $5 off coupon for a better deal. ($5 off $25 is 20%... but I'm disappointed that we're not getting a better discount this year.)

There are a few polka-dot tagged clearance houseplants left, but pickings are pretty slim. They do have a good selection of succulents & other smaller potted plants. And there's a new PARROT!

Booo-hooooo....I missed seeing this thread....awwwhhhh! Tis all good...next year I'll do better and put it on my calendar when dates first set so I don't forget. I'm doing maternity pics for my son and his financee' as they're expecting their 2nd in a month...other wise...I'd be there. I miss Bec keeping me on track

Whew! What a wonderful afternoon. LOVED seeing everybody, as always I'm left wishing I'd had more time to catch up with some or to follow up on particular topics with others.

First Seed Swap... It was a lot of fun.....

And I always come home with lots of Goodies, Thanks to all
that shared seeds, bulbs and plants....

And thanks to yous that took mine...

We got home and crashed! It's a good thing I have a couple of months to figure out where I'm going to plant all of that stuff. I may have to get a roto-tiller in for a day or two to create a couple of new beds. (Yeh,I now.... bummer man.)

I had a great time - always enjoy seeing and chatting with everyone. Thanks to all who gave me the seeds, plants and rizomes from the swap list. And all the other seeds that everybody shared

It was truly wonderful to see everybody today. I had a great time indeed! Many thanks to Jill for organizing the event, also to all the friends for great seeds.

Thanks for the rice hulls. Lisa, was that you? Gita, Judy and I divvied them up. We weren't sure at the end of the day, if someone had claimed them but left behind, or what, exactly.

Great event as always when we are able to get together! Thanks Jill for putting it together and thanks everyone for sharing the bounty. I will be doing some winter sowing this morning for the seeds that work well with that method

Sally, I confess to inadvertently leaving the rice hulls behind. Having placed the bag under the table at the beginning, they slipped my mind when we were packing up 4 hours later. Getting old

Yep, the rice hulls were for David. I'll probably get more at Thanksgiving.
