If things start looking bad I may tent it. I can't believe how strong the scent of peanut butter is when you get close to it.

We have had frost at night for about a week now and so far mine is still perky and upright. Seems pretty tough. Of course your temps are lower.

It may just need babying through the first winter since she just got it. I like the tent idea. I believe if you get it through this winter & it has time to establish itself & a good root system during the summer then she'll live for you & flourish.

I think it will do okay. We have had temps into the teens and frozen ground for several weeks. We are now warming up and the rain has arrived.

What is amazing to me is that my Geum 'Cookie' is still trying to produce it's lovely little orange blooms. I love that plant.

Charleene, I hope and pray every one did. My pleasure is cuddling up to my youngest daughter (cold) and watching kiddy movies while having popcorn. Its quite fun, no need to use any of your grey cells and forget all troubles.

Now is the time to reflect on what our gardens did this last growing season, and to plan for the upcoming growing season. Catalogs have started arriving in the mail.

We have no snow but have been getting rain. Which we needed. Charley sends you all nice warm nuzzles....And hopes you got all the things you wanted for Christmas, including family time....

They love you too!!! They are very friendly longears. They had girls walking up the road earlier this week, the girls came over to see them, All four of them were at the fence. Loving the attention.

Yes sir, that is our wonderful long ears.

With the fuzzy wuzzy winter coat on. They get soooooo soft & warm feeling with their winter coats.

. I cannot find any thing unnatural with their behavior and quite cute looking. Quality time, what else to do in this weepy weather , in normal weather I don't see neither hide nor hair. She collects movies all year long for these winter vacations and I am the only one she can rope in. Rest, it seems are to mature must be entering my second childhood.

Second childhood is the best. I think we appreciate the important things more, and begin to see things through a child's eye again.

I love second Childhood. I've learned so much and still learning. Only this time there is no pressure. Just enjoy and learn....
We can even enjoy the weather in a different way....
