Top picture could be either Georgia Peach or Watermelon as both look similar in the Spring.
Picture 2 not showing any real color so no way to tell.
Berry marmalade has upturned leaves or is that a old bottom leaf from last season.

What is wrong with my Forever Purple Heuchera? The tips of the leaves are turning brown.

I purchased the Heuchera on the left though it was UN named NOID because it looked like a twin to my Forever Purple. I'm hoping it is Forever Purple.

To me that looks more like Berry Smoothie then Berry Marmalade.
It does look like Forever Purple. Is it in full sun? I noticed mine burned in the sun last year. Mine did not overwinter.

My Forever Purple is in full morning sun and sprinkled shade. The tree leaves are not yet full grown so the sprinkled shade is brighter.

Perhaps I should pull the pots up and put them in deeper shade until the tree leaves mature?

I just sat the pots right into the ground to see if they would be happy in that location.

Why did Forever Purple not over winter for you?

Not sure. Pretty much only the real strong ones make it here. Even though I am zone 6a Winters on top of the mountain are pretty harsh plus lots of wind . My house is between 2 lakes and the winds can get pretty strong.Really the only 2 I lost this year were Forever Purple and Grape Expectations very similar looking plants.

It's becoming harder to 100% accurately ID some heuchera varieties in my opinion. So many companies producing similar varieties and putting them on the market.

I agree and with so many garden centers mis tagging plants it can get real hard knowing for sure. What is worse is that if you point it out most could care less.

Yep all they want is the cash. Although I noticed Lowes is now marking the pots so If the tags are moved check the pots. I now think of these plants like Hostas many look alike if I see one and it lives for me and I like it I will buy another one.

I live on a Mountain too. All of my Heuchera did fine but they were under 2 1/2 feet of snow. Maybe the snow pack protects them?

Snow works as a great insulator. The years we get lots of snow that does not melt are the years I lose almost no plants.

Yes that is the reason they were dying in my garden. They do not like cold and wet. We do not get a lot of snow most winters. My new weather pattern seems to be Spring for a few weeks then freezing rain then a stretch of below 0.
