We should've sent a Praying Mantis over. Bet he'd get the snake off the feeder for you! Hilarious! Hilarious!

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

I don't even want to see how big the mantis might get after chowing down on a snake!

Hey all, Sorry, haven't been back in a while. I DID take the snake off the feeder and relocate it to the barn. It was a harmless little oak snake. They are so docile they don't even try to bite. I have always liked snakes too.
I have another picture of one of these snakes eating a mocking bird up in a oak tree. My husband came in the house and asked "what kind of snake catches birds out of trees?" I thought he was kidding..... Wish I could find that pic. I know it's somewhere on this computer.

If they are docile and don't even try to bite, then why was one eating a Mockingbird? Confused Crying Blinking Thumbs down

Ha ha! OK, I stand corrected. They don't try to bite people. Mockingbirds are not so lucky.

Great photo Pam. Your Oak Snake is looking on the thin side. Sure hope it found some rodents to eat.
