I also received great looking plants from Miss Becky's last year. Her prices are great but my issue is that several in my order have been mislabeled. Some labels were swapped around from my own order, and at least one that bloomed I had to identify by using her plant list. Since all ordered did not bloom last year, I'm still not sure which one(s) from my order were possibly left out. The one that was erroneously received was more expensive than most of the ones I ordered from her, and it was beautiful, so all is good 😊.
On a different note, I took a chance on a new seller from the Lily Auction, and I couldn't be more pleased with the plants I received. Username is Lilyobsession, who is Matt Meadows. He was driving down to FL with Jamie Gossard to Spacecoast Daylilies to do some garden stuff there (dig and ship orders growing there), and he offered to meet me in Columbia when they came through. He called a few times to touch base about my order and to schedule the plant pick up, and called me several hours out this morning to let me know a more firm time since they were enroute from Ohio. He also notified me ahead of time that one of my DF orders was actually only a single fan, so he was refunding part of the price I paid. Well that single fan is huge and already dividing! I accidentally clicked Buy It Now and bought the same plant twice...he also refunded that due to my stupidity. I had already paid for shipping as I purchased, so he refunded that as well!
Plants received were all huge and more fans than advertised, and since he was bringing them potted up out of greenhouse space he shares with Jamie, they are already sending up scapes! I would highly recommend buying from him if he has anything on your want list. He sells mostly newer stuff, but good prices.
He let me pick out my bonuses, which he is getting from Spacecoast, so he said he'd ship those to me while they were shipping others this week. What an incredibly generous guy!
After two horrible experiences on the LA last year, this year's sellers have renewed my confidence with purchasing there.
On a side note, he didn't just hand off the plants and leave...my husband and I met them at Wendy's and enjoyed talking daylilies and sharing photos for a bit before they had to get back on the road. It was a pleasure to see pictures of seedlings and future intros for both Matt and Jamie. I was in daylily awe today!
