I bought from them, at least once. It was fine.

I also ordered their catalogue this year....it's pretty amazing. I read about their financial situation, and it seems like it would be a shame for a company with such a long history to go out of business.

And it looks like even with the huge response they've gotten, it probably won't be enough. Too bad, huh?

I'm not looking. I can't buy more until I check my disorganized seed stash. I don't even know what I already have! And I have to be selective this year- I just don't have much planting space left if most of my perennials survive winter.

We've now topped 70" for rainfall this year- already 13" over the previous record wet year. All this wet weather on clay soil might take a big toll on some plants. Maybe I'll have more empty space than I had thought.

I think we need to organize a small seed swap. I have so many seeds, I couldn't possibly use them all. I also had to stop myself from ordering more I truly think I need a 12-step program for seeds Hilarious!

I've been trying to drum up interest in splitting some packets of Asian greens, herbs or vegetables here in the "Plant & Seed Trading Forum" or over in cubits. The ATP trading forum is pretty quiet.

I have a lot of Bok Choy and would swap, but there's not much I'm short on, right after the Hog Wild Piggy Swap.

I don't grow food, just pretty things.

The only food I grow is tomatoes, and not many of those. I have on occasion planted a pepper plant or two, or direct sown some carrots or beets, but mostly just flowers.

>> Asian Brassicas....

Chinese Cabbage, many "mustard greens", Bok Choy, things they compare to kale or leaf broccoli ...

This website has many great photos per page, and bargain seeds (~ 3 grams for $2). They mainly sell wholesale to market growers, but they are very nice and patient with this amateur home gardener:

Kitazawa has lots more variety, but you only see photos of one variety at a time.

Got my fourth seed catalog in today's mail (Seed Savers Exchange). This is really not good for my seed obsession.

Yes, they're coming fast now. I've gotten Pinetree's, Territorial, Stokes, T&M, Harris, Tomato Growers... But I really need to go through my seed stash and see what I already own. It's a lot of stuff that I've saved because I wanted to grow it "some day"

I finally opened up my Landreth - wow, what a work of art! I'm thinking of having some of the pages dry-mounted for hanging in my kitchen.
