Nice order, Daphne. Smiling I hate the job of culling irises. I have a few that are so much alike that to keep them both is just a waste of space. I have got to disrespect one of them. Sad

Sometimes it's nice to have two that look alike if space is available and you like them a lot if one blooms earlier, and one blooms later . Makes for a long season with a similar bloom.

Mary, I send my trade/for postage boxes in May and early June, so people may also be receiving non-vendor boxes. Smiling

Mary - iris sent from US vendors don't usually start shipping until June or later. Since Australia's seasons are opposite those in the northern hemisphere, the ones getting iris now from Tempo Two were dug in the fall down under.

I got a box. Hurray! I have been tracking it, on the hour, for days. (I may get some sleep now that it has arrived) It was thundering and raining when the postal person left it in the mailbox and I waited..... as long as I could. Now I am bonding with my little rhizomes. Thank You! Debra!

This is the perfect time to plant irises here as they will take hold fast. The weather is warm but not hot and the rain we are getting every four or so days means little watering is needed. The little rhizomes act like they were never interrupted in their spring growth. Smiling I know the more northern growers are just experiencing their bloom season but I think that the gardemers that live in the south have to get it done before it gets too hotl

I got a box too! Hurray! Hurray!

Thank you Deb! I tip my hat to you. They will get potted up later today until I finish preparing their new bed. Which needs a few more passes with the tiller to fluff it up and work in some more grass clippings and decomposed wood chip soil.

thank you everyone, i am excited, too. the rhizomes were large, except for 'capt. thunderbolt' and i got two of those. i'm changing the water out today; they're soaking one more day, then getting a dunk in clorinated water, then potted. on sunday......happy mothers' day to all of you out there while i'm thinking about it. 😃

four in, gotta think of eight out. i think i have at least four, and maybe two more on the list. i have 2 'damsel in a dress' haven't seen them bloom but i'm not so sure i like the color combo?? hmmmm. and my 'mesmerizer' is blooming purple Confused Confused .

going out to take a pic to send to vendor.
