seedrat, may I have Lungwort (pulmonaria) please? Looks very pretty. I already asked too many plants from all of you, so little hesitant. :(

Thank you so much EvanstonNewb for the citrus food and VerdantApt for tradescantia moses in the cradle.

pitimpinai, it looks the "grass morning light" I got from you few years back and it looks so nice. It multiplied and became a big clump now. Thank you.

I would really love if anyone has any rock, live moss or moss like plants for terrarium/miniature garden. I am looking forward to make something like the pics in the link.

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/...

I have trumpet vine orange bloom, kalanchoe orange bloom cutting, Pachyphytum thin leaf cutting and Jade green cutting.

Thanks

Jasmine : I have preserved floral moss. It's been in my fridge for a year. It dries out and isn't alive, so sometimes it loses its green color and turns brown. I've been using it as a top dressing. Would this be helpful for any of your projects?

All : I'm thinning my collection of no-ID Phalaenopsis orchid rescues. Two plants have a few flowers left, but the rest probably won't produce flower spikes for at least 6 months. They're very small, in rough shape, and will need babying in order to produce new roots. I haven't seen any bug or disease issues, just a lack of healthy roots. Any takers?

pitimpinai- if you happen to have any other foxglove, I would love some. Same for the white bleeding heart. I would also love the larkspur which I don't think anyone has claimed. Thank you!

I need to set aside a little time to go through the last few pages of offers/requests but I will try to do so tonight and post to confirm what everyone has requested so far as well as whatever else I might be bringing.

Hi all,

I'm watching my Soloman Seal rise up and look so pretty. Is there anymore to claim?

Also, I will have red Monarda - didn't know if anyone wanted that.
Catmint - I know not that exciting.
A few large ferns

VerdantApt, I am looking for live one. I have couple of varieties of dried moss but not thinking to use them. Thanks for the offer though.

I am getting ready for my first art fair of the season this weekend, but have noted down what everyone wants so far. I will check back as soon as I return.

I had a chance to see my disabled friendā€™s very shady yard on Sunday. I plugged in the plants I brought from my own garden, but there is still a lot of space. Once the trees leaf out fully the shade will be pretty dense. Green and white hostas would be appreciated, pitimpinai.

In my yard, Iā€™ve had another rangy old juniper shrub die and will soon take over that spot for more part-shade garden. I may help myself to more hostas too if I find enough at the swap.

Iā€™d like some larkspur if you have enough to go around.

Jasmine, I can bring you moss from the north side of my house. I have been experimenting with trying to transplant it to other shady spots, with mixed success. I donā€™t know how suited it is for indoor use, though. The soil would possibly have bugs in it. Let me know if you still want it.

LinneaL, that would be great. I can try that moss. It can sit outside during summer. Thank you so much.

Hi Lgoffen:

A few people have asked for red monarda, I don't know if they've been "covered" by other swappers, hopefully they'll name themselves if they need some, or some more.

Is your catmint the low one that spreads by seed, or the taller one that spreads by the roots (and is contrarily named "Walker's LOW")? I have a nice patch of the first but I'd love a bit of the taller kind if that's yours. And either kind will "sell" well at the swap!

Linnea, I may have a pretty big clump of variegated hosta for you. And would green hosta be ok for your friend, in between clumps of the variegated?

Also, did you see my question about sowing foxglove seeds for you? I imagine you're very busy with your preparations, so if I don't hear form you I may or may not just start them anyway--it depends on how much free time I have!

Jasmine, I'll check on the pulmonaria. I listed it as doing well but the lily turf keeps crowding it so I'm not sure I can bring any.

Linnea I noticed you mentioning purple irises early in this thread, do you want purple siberian iris?

Lgoffen, I will bring you starry false solomon's seal. It looks like solomon's seal and is a native, which makes me like it even more Smiling

Okay, I think I've caught up on the thread:

lgoffen-would love some ferns

Jasmine-would appreciate the jade plant cutting if you still have it

Seedrat-I would love the grape hyacinths, phlox, and foxglove seeds that you offered. I would also take some irises if they havenā€™t been claimed. Thank you. Will bring you calendula, dill, and my contact info. Yes, you are welcome to the parking permit for our street to access the CBG any time!

Other plants that Iā€™m bringing for specific people (if you requested something from me and I havenā€™t noted it here, please remind me so that I am sure to set it aside for you):

Pitimpinai-swiss chard, california poppy, chocolate mint

LinneaL-swiss chard

oerickson-cal poppies and calendula

VerdantApt-black eyed susans

Jasmine-black eyed susans, moss, Brandywine OTV, Brandywine Sudduth's

plantfan-black-eyed susans, monarda, Cal poppy

jqsen-Cal poppy, swiss chard, BES

tini7777-California poppy, calendula seedlings, Swiss chard, oregano, basil, BES, dill, fern leaf lavender, choc. mint

Other plants that I still have still available for the taking:
oregano
calendula
Black eyed susans
White cherry tomato
Copper River tomato
Red Ruffles tomato
Spineless prickly pear cactus (just started rooting a sad little pad that fell off my main plant and I neglected for a while). Should perk up and start a new plant. Although it is spineless, it does still have glochids so wear gloves when handling.

blosky2001, FWIW I used to live in the Aurora/Naperville area (Near Eola/Butterfield) until a couple years ago and I drove out to the swap from there for years. The traffic isnā€™t terrible, especially if you can head out early. I always found the swap well worth the drive; the garden that I sadly left behind in Aurora was a testament to the swap ;)

Other wants of mine (new ones at top)
false indigo (baptisia) blue/purple flowered
white bleeding heart
large-leaved hosta
tall ferns (ones that have more of a vertical presence vs. horizontal spread; not necessarily 4 ft. tall or anything)
traditional lavender (as opposed to the fernleaf Iā€™m offering above)
jack in the pulpit
wild black raspberries
elderberry
larkspur
lupines
foxglove
peonies
hydrangea
roses
allium
delphinium
perennial poppies
echinacea (pink)
spring/summer bulbs (e.g., hyacinth, grape hyacinth, iris, etc.)
medicinal herbs/flowers
other ā€œcottage gardenā€ plants

To everyone who has already offered to bring things for me, thank you! So looking forward to the swap.

Happy, I will bring you Jade cutting.

VerdantApt, are you looking for gooseberry seedlings? I can bring you one. Please let me know. This is pixwell variety and a prolific bloomer.

Seedrat, please don't worry about pulmonaria, just ignore it please.

Jasmine : I've never grown or even tasted gooseberry, so I sent you a private email with questions. Please let me know if you get it. Thanks for the generous offer!

lgoffen - I'm interested in ferns, catmint and monarda. I already have a request out for ferns and monarda so I think I might already be getting some, but I will take yours too if there aren't any other takers! I have 4 mostly empty flower beds so...

Seedrat- interesting info! I will take some time to digest this informationā€‹.

jqsen : The rescue Phal orchids are yours to rehabilitate. Smiling

What kind of raspberries do you have? Do you know the variety name? Can you please describe their height/fruit color/when to harvest? I'd love to collect different raspberry varieties!

Hey, everyone who requested Coreopsis Verticillata from me:

I messed up! I got the names of my 2 coreopsis mixed up. The Verticillata is doing very poorly in an area I don't share from because it is overrun with invasives (and that's probably why it's doing poorly).

The plant I THOUGHT I was talking about is Coreopsis Palmata. It's also a native, and it has the cut leaves, but they're not wispy. You can read about it here:
http://www.missouribotanicalga...
Mine spreads slowly and is a happy clump.

Please let me know if C palmata is ok.

I will try to gather seeds from my verticillata and start them this year.
