Teresa, I got 'Daring Deception' after seeing it bloom at Mid-America last year. They still have it in stock this spring for $10. It was blooming half size the year before at Schreiner's display garden too. I like my TB's to be big apparently.

Tom, Does Oxford Countess grow well for you? It's a beautiful flower, but somewhere I got the impression that it is not terribly vigorous. Could be wrong, of course.

Teresa, some iris blooms are about seven inches tall like my hand then due to different conditions they are small. Yuck! I bought my avatar at Schreiner's in a pot and it was huge blossomed. When it bloomed in my yard last spring it had small blossoms. A hard freeze hit the pregnant fans is my hypothesis. If it happens this spring I will move it to a colder spot to encourage it to wait on the blossoms.
