Thanks Jerry for that tip! I do have an old wheelbarrow that has a rusted hole in it. Just never thought of using it for this purpose. D'Oh! D'Oh! That will be a great tool for cleaning up the root without me having to bend low to spray the clump. Thumbs up Thumbs up Thank You!

Thanks for the ideas, Jerry! I will try that the next time. I have part of an old porch swing for the slatted part!!

And of course, I would love a pice of Iris and any other peonies you didn't give away!
Thank You!

Jerry thanks for the tips about how to dig the peonies!
I have large plastic crates with slats that I've received bulbs in, and I could place the dug up peonies in them to clean them.

I would love one of the iris rhizomes if you have any left.

I should have several iris rhizomes to share. The only thing to consider is the currently blooming rhizomes are not supposed to bloom again but they put out several increases for the following year.

The one thing which I was never able to master was an automatic weed puller.

This is the noid single which I plan to dig and give away if anyone wants some. We have had 3½ inches of rain Friday and today. The blossom is not fully open as it would be if we had warm sun. Glad none of the large doubles are open. They all would be on the ground.

Jerry, after everyone else is taken care of, if there is an available Early Scout, may I have it?

That NOID reminds me of Doreen, Jerry. If you have any left over after others get some I would like one. I do have so many peonies, so I feel the others should go first.

I have a large clump and a medium clump to dig. I have another in the backyard to keep so there should be several divisions to donate. It has always been the first to bloom of the regular peonies and multiplies well.

First to bloom! Hmmmm.....makes me think I should request a division of you noid too Jerry. I'm always on the hunt for "show openers", and that would look great in my pink bed.

Jerry, does it bloom before Roselette?

No. Roselette is a FL hybrid and blooms just before Early Scout's blossoms wilt. This noid is the first of the standard peonies to bloom.

Major flooding in areas with creeks and rivers. We are high and dry here except for some temporary street flooding during the rain. One interstate in the St. Louis area may be closed for up to a week.
