Beautiful.. Now I know the name of some of mine Thumbs up Question Confused
With moving I dont want to loose all my crocus. When can I dig them up ? They dissappear
pretty fast once the flowers are gone. And how do I store them ?

Shannon, how long will you be storing them for?

When do you need to dig them/ when will you be moving?

You can mark the area they are in while they are in flower, to dig later. Smiling

The best time to dig them is when they are dormant. (when the flowers and leaves have totally disappeared),

storing them in mesh bags(or a ventilated container) where they get good air circulation.

I have crocus blooming, too.

Those tornadoes were south, west, and east of me. Way too close for comfort.

It's a beautiful day today. I got out and raked some leaves, picked up lots of trash that arrived with the tornadoes.

YAY, crocuses, Karen! Hurray! Hurray!

Very glad you are ok.

The tornados hit a few parts of this state also. Feel so bad for the lives affected. Very tragic.

Jo Ann, I just pulled it up in the database under 'Iris George'. It won't come up with the 'reticulata' added to the search. I don't know why but I'm not an Iris expert.

crocus next to the house are in flower. I would think that heat is bouncing off the house.

Oh my! This wind is absolutely awful today! I had a plant rack crash over inside my plant house! Argggg! At least the structure is still there; for now, anyway...

I was going to move a leaf pile today.....no way; I want those leaves. If they weren't covered with a weighted tarp they'd be gone already!

Photography??? Nope. Tried that this morning...all I can do is laugh, and hope it goes away soon! Whistling It's wearing me out. Hilarious!

One of those shiny mylar balloons blew into the garden from points unknown this morning; got hung up in a tree, and an hour later it was gone again! Rolling on the floor laughing
