my breath away.
Bowtie Affair is registered at 9 inches, I believe,
so it imparts some of those big genes to offspring.

The last one does it for me too... I'm afraid to see that one in the LA... I see a bidding war...

We're starting off June with some fabulous seedlings. These are the ones that most captivated me:

Blooms from the last few days:

I like your first one, Fred; the last one seems to be somewhat distinctive.

Another one from my (non-poly) crosses: BELLE OF ASHWOOD x (supposed to be but probably not) MYSTICAL INTUITION. The petals don't always pinch like that.



The poly bed was subject to severe drought due to irrigation problems (which I suspect are ongoing - that bed is dry as a bone). I have a very few seedlings in there that are somewhat polymerous, but ugh... Maybe they'll look better in another year and a wetter situation. (In the meantime I am spreading their pollen around a little.)

Regina just tree mail me your address and don't bother to look to see if any are missing sometime Love love love that first one! The other are also gorgeous but you know me and purples and green throats!

Wow, your seedlings are so beautiful, Regina! I am with each one that click on. Love the first 5 and last 2 pics the most. Super job!

Not in bloom yet, but check out the buds. I have had
this plant for four years, and it is still variegated, even
the scapes. Now, if the blooms would follow suit.

You are seeing what I go out to the garden and see
each morning for the first time.

Well, except for the variegated one that I've had for
four years with stable variegation.

I can't wait for morning. Saw two really huge buds that appear
to have a magenta color.

Edit for update on the huge buds. It was 53 degrees this morning
and that bloom would not open, but the color is a black cherry
purple, really dark with white ruffled edge. Hope it opens on
next bloom.

Italian Kaleidoscope x Glamoureyez is amazing regardless if it has nice blooms or not. I'm a huge fan of variegated plants. Great job Shirlee, if you ever go to divide that one please let me know I'd love to buy a fan

Very nice, Shirlee! My tets this year leave a lot to be desired, but next year I should have some nicer ones.

Karen, all of mine are first blooms on plants that range from 12 to 16 months.

It is so exciting to go out to the seedling bed each morning! I still have about a hundred that haven't bloomed yet, but many of them are currently reblooming, which is also quite exciting since that is one of my focus areas.
