Larry, the anthers on Tribal Council are sometimes curled inside. Today one was like that and the other was a super double poly with the anthers more upright. It is registered as 99% double.

Finally!! FFE Red Edition

My first daylilies this year were the mystery hitchhikers in an asparagus clump that turned out to be ditch lilies. Oh, well.

Next was the first bloom on a seedling found under Daring Dilemma, which appears to be its "mom & dad". It lacks the picotee edging.







I found homes for them, and ordered some Marriott daylilies. I'm limited on space, and big splashy daylilies take the same amount of weeding as little ones.
Amber, I note that we are in the same state and zone - if the new lilies multiply well - I'm up for trading in the future.

There are only two more FFOs left here, may have one tomorrow. The good news is that a number of the daylilies are putting up more scapes. A big surprise is Tribal Council. I found four new scapes yesterday and these are taller than any I have seen before. There are also new scapes on WB Good Old Days, WB So Blue Without Teresa, Sweeten Creek, Galaxy Explosion, Lemonberry Truffle, Ada May Musick, and probably a few more I can't remember right now. I think Persian Market will rebloom tomorrow on a new scape and should have flowers soon on Katherine Caldwell.

Sharon, I was considering adding Frances Joiner to my wish list, but I'm not so sure after that photo.
I'm a newbie here, so I better ask now before anyone gets the idea that I should know anything: what is FFO and FFE?
