A few new ones today.

'Orange Clown' - this one today is easily the largest bloom I've ever had in the daylilies. A little over 10". It was big last year, but not close to that!

'A Little Fire, Scarecrow'

'Liquid Memory' - a repeat, but I thought the earlier had too much light obscuring the subtle coloring.

Orange Clown and Outer Space both really caught my eyes this morning. So many beauties. Ginny, Saratoga Springtime always does well but seem to be better than normal this year. 40 blooms live headed last night and this many more this morning. Now that I am retired and have the time, I have been spraying with Spray N Grow and Bill's Perfect fertilizer weekly. Maybe that is making a difference. Not far enough into the season to see how other's are going to do.

So many lovely blooms going on here. It's nice for the rest of us that some parts of the country have daylilies blooming sooner than others. It prolongs the show and bridges the gap until the re-bloomers kick in.

My Siloam Double Classic barely finished up its first flush of blooms 2 weeks ago, and it's got 3 new scapes coming along. I'm flabbergasted. Moonlit Masquerade finished up its one scape not even a week ago and 3 more popped up in that clump, too. I guess I can thank the 3in. of rain we got for that, huh?

I have several new starts that came from Susan last year that are putting on scapes now, too. Thanks Susan! I took about half of my box of treasures to my daughter's house in Utah, so I'm hoping they'll be blooming when I go to visit her next.

The later blooming varieties now. Not too many more cultivars left to see bloom. But there are repeat scapes on some of the earlier blooming plants now, so things are still looking up for the rest of June and maybe the early part of July. Three from yesterday and today.

'Holly Dancer':

'Judge Roy Bean' is growing and blooming better this year, but still is a bit short:

'Selma Longlegs' now qualifies as an old favorite. I've enjoyed seeing several of her children bloom this year:
