The rain stopped and I went out to see the damage--surprise, not very much, in fact there were quite a few looking really good:

Willow Dean Smith--FFO--no harm done by the rain.

Astral Voyager--FFE--thank you, Debra, for another lovely lavender added to our garden.

These you have seen before:

Black Falcon Ritual--four nice ones after the rain

Capacity For Wonder Trio

Westbourne On Cloud Nine--good color today

Trickster--cluster of six

Beautiful Edgings-blooming in a circle

Barnegat Light--lit up the garden with ten blooms

Sugar Magnolia--just fantastic

And Diversity bloomed again on its short scape. I've had a few that opened a little bit but didn't fully bloom on this one Thumbs down But this is its first year, and our weather was wacky this spring. So I'm holding out hope that it improves.

And of course Canadian Border Patrol put out a couple blooms for me Hurray!

These pics were just taken at almost 8pm. It was a hot, humid day here too.

All I can say is WOW! Everyone's daylilies and photos are exceptional!

The rain helped alot of these break out of their shells!
Golden Prize what a transformation!

Although they are all blooming short the blooms are normal.

I have had a few daylilies merge together own their own and I was upset with them and wanted to separate them. Now looking at your photo, I am wondering if it might not be a good idea to grow them in a pot mixed together. I sort of like that.

@Seedfork These really work because same height and bloom time. They also have the same vigor. I have done several other containers and only one other looks like it is going to be successful eye candy. I did pinks and the heights, vigor, and flower size, maybe too much pink, did not work.
Everytime I walk outside these do take my breath away. Had a hard time before photographing before because with the red there the camera bleached out the white daylilies.

May you be blessed with success!

We've had several rain showers overnight and this morning, so most of the blooms were destroyed or couldn't open this morning. Here are a few that stood up the pounding rains.

I saw on the Robin today that they are just now finishing with the 2016 intros. I think since ours were sent right at the cutoff they will be 2017.
Windswept Brick Town
Ashton told me it is an into when he saw the first flower. It changes over the bloom season but starts out like the photo. It is 40" and registers as 6.5" flower w/4 branches and 25 buds. We see more like 28-34 buds on the mature plants. It will get more spider looking with some of the blooms. I think there are lots of people who like the spider or narrow petal type who would think a lot of it if they saw it in bloom.
It is Galaxy Explosion x Magic of Oz. We dug it all and divided it in three different beds and lost track of it until this spring. We were not for sure where it was until it bloomed.
I have so many pictures no way to get them on here but three more for now.
