Leaf cuttings. It was a bit of fun but one leaf yielded twenty five plants from Sparking Burgundy which took three years to bloom.

It's over wintered dry in the basement.

So would I but having done it I kept a handful and swapped the rest for other things.

I may be repeating myself here but I have also found the occasional bulbil growing in the crown at the top of the flower stem on different Eucomis.

I think you did note that previously.
The row of caladiums planted on north side of garage are starting to show in greater numbers finally.

Those poppies will have to go.

Much as I'd like to say that it is due to my dedicated care the truth is that here I just pop them in, they grow, bloom and then self seed as well!
When I moved I left the bulbs and just scattered seed in the new garden. This is the result just two years later!

How am I just coming across this thread?? I missed a lot! I could post some pics of lilium for those that would like to see them. Though it would be a lot of pictures since I am so far behind here!

I daren't grow Oxalis "Iron Cross" here not because I dislike it but because it is completely and utterly invasive. I learnt the hard way
