Nice, JErb! Make sure to collect seed from them when they go to seed. What type of morning glories are they!

My morning glories I started from seed this year (from @Luvsgrtdanes ) just started taking off, too! A little ways away from blooming, but it definitely just had a growth spurt. Just an hour ago when I was outside counting daylilies, the morning glory pot stopped me in my tracks because it seemed to grow from about 2" tall to a foot tall overnight.

ediblelandscapingsc said:Karen leaf footed stinkbugs where and still are kind of a problem in my area. I can tell you that buying praying mantis eggs on ebay the past 2 years has cut them way back.

Is that what I'm going to end up doing? Is spraying pyrethrin not going to help at all? If so, I do think I've made a decision about a greenhouse. I worked so hard on these beautiful tomatoes only to lose them to leaf footers? With no recourse? I have read one oklahoman report that once they are here and swarming, your crop is done and you can hang it up. This is the second year I've had them out of the last 4. I'm going out this evening and was going to spray sevin dust as I am that desperate to save my tomatoes. I don't care about the bulk of them, only my better boys. Roma's are almost done now. I haven't spotted them on my tomatoes but give them another day. They are on the peppers. If spraying is not going to help, then I'd prefer not to since I still have beans in the garden. Please let me know. Thanks!

J Erb... I only have one ticket this time, but if we both win and I am ahead of you , I will try to leave the Victory Seeds for you. I am torn between Oak Hill Daylilies, Victory Seeds, and Perennial Obsessions.

Yes, the Perennial Obsessions one is. I just had "Lucky Streak" bloom for the first time yesterday (and 2 blooms today).... So I'm hoping that it is foreshadowing a lucky streak for me! Hilarious! With only one ticket in this time, I would have to be pretty lucky! Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers!

I need the assistance of you flower people lol. If I want to save seeds for next year do I just pick and save the dried up pod things? I'm assuming that is right. Seeking affirmation :)
