yeah i have a bunch of milder varieties growing and some sweet too.
sweet i have cali wonders, king arthurs, orange and purple beauties, cubanelles, giant marconi, greek pepperoncini, and tangerine dream (they can be a bit hot towards the stem)
milder 1s i have are jalapeno, ancho, cherry bombs (cool 1s that grow upwards like ornamentals) and shishito (but sometimes they are solely sweet..hit or miss) and anaheim.
then the list continues bumped up in heat lol
i will defo list everything before the swap starts, im kinda superstitious when it comes to appeasing the pepper gods, so i dont want to count my eggs before they hatch, so to speak lol
Thumbs up

I'm afraid most of my seeds are going to be commercial this year. Things are flowering very strangely. The godetia are just reaching peak in July!?! Blinking The campanula hasn't bloomed yet but the dianthus has finally started blooming. I haven't even started any summer flowering seeds yet! I still have a ton of seedlings to plant but no room since the Spring plants aren't done. I hope my petunias survive in peat pots! And I haven't seen a lot of pollinators which is worrisome. The daylilies have finally brought in some bees. All I seem to have is flies, ants and mosquitos!

Elena,

I understand what you mean about the strangeness. We are too. Even though spring was basically the beginning of March, things that should have bloomed by now are just beginning, things that shouldn't have, did. Our spring is ending now in a weird way. Usually, June 1st, the heat is coming and the rains are gone. This year, we still have rain. The weather is trying to take my gardens out this weekend, but we are prevailing. So far. Usually by now, we're already in the hundreds and dry as a bone. I'm still not watering like I should be due to the rain we get. Hang in there, they will come, just later than usual.

J Erb -you should! We can both start and compare notes. I have been wanting to have my own bee hive for awhile now. It looks like I just might get that chance...

I'm pretty sure my husband and I have found a house, so if all goes well, we will be moving in the next 2 months! Hurray!

Thanks, you two!

I am trying not to count my chickens before they hatch because a lot rests on the appraisal, but we don't anticipate any issues.

JErb it tends to take awhile. I'm not even sure MikeD is still moderator. The last couple of times someone else approved my stuff.

The peanuts are coming along. Here's a pic of one plant.

I'm going to need to move all the stuff around it. I put it there so the stray cats won't use it as a litter box. It's hard to see in the next picture but it's starting to get flowers!

No I bought the seeds. They are supposed to be wild jungle peanuts. Supposed to be striped and taste different. The seeds were striped. If I get some peanuts I'll offer them for the swap (if they taste good). Sticking tongue out

Is it already that time of year again, time sure does fly. I'm glad we are getting a jump on the trade talks early this year. I'll go ahead and start collecting now and maybe come November I'll have some unique things to share. Thanks for hosting another trade DND last year was a blast.
