Oh. That puts a wrinkle in things. I have a couple of groundhogs living back there.

A "couple" of groundhogs can clear cut a large vegetable garden overnight. And YES I do mean clear cut. Gone. To the ground.

Hilarious!
Finally got our pretty snow yesterday evening. It stayed in the 20's last night but with a clear sky and wind this morning, the temps are supposed to drop.

Well, I woke up to 34 and it's now 22. It feels a lot colder to me though. I've been outside with the forklift twice this morning because customers can't wait until it's 40-50 degrees out. Rolling my eyes. Oh well, we made quick work of it so we could get back inside. Hilarious!

It is cold , January morning ,, Winter beauty ,
2 degrees , minus 9 chill ,
Walking out the door Bites in this weather ,
Of course , since October I kept walking out the door waiting (and expected) for a cold wind or air to slap me in or on the face , It was weird , Now that it does that , ,,, I hope it does not continue as a feeling until June .
Because of the computer age I feel like I am being programmed to what the weather patterns use to be , really weird ,, Hilarious!

How about 0 with a minus 13 chill ,, I would ask Ma , "how low can you go ?" But somehow ,, II think I don't want to do that !!!

Gosh, Pepper - I always think of MO as being warmer than here but you seem to be getting the brunt of all the less desirable weather this winter. Sometimes being on the south end of Lake Michigan is a good thing I guess.

Today- high 47
Thur- high 54 low 32
Fri- high 36 low 32
Sat- high 28 low 20
Sun- high 22 low12
Mon- high 19 low 8
Tue- high 26 low 13

Warmer for a couple days then the bottom drops out again. Typical winter weather around here. Mother Nature can never make up her mind. Not unusual to have a couple days in the 70s then drop down to below freezing either. Hilarious!

OK - you got us beat with that 54 on Thurs. I'll have to be happy with temps in the 40's. One thing this cool weather lover has learned is to never go to St. Louis or Virginia in July. (Jim reminded me of that with his roller coaster comment.)

The best part about tomorrow's warm temps is I have to visit a friend and her furry animals so at least I can be halfway warm for that then I have to go let my dog nieces out for a bathroom run and I won't be rushing them because it's cold outside. Hilarious!
