Temps are dropping and the weather folk say the wind will come late as the temps drop more. Raining at the moment but might turn to rain/ice/snow later. Already covered up my cold frame to conserve any warmth in there and got about 5 more gallons of rain water before the barrel freeze up again.

LOL! I've been reading seed catalogs and gardening books while I'm on there.
I read that Monsanto owns 40% of the seeds now so I have weeded out the catalogs of those they own and will not order from them. I have a few left that are on the good list.
Burpee is on the lists because they will supply seeds from Monsanto owned companies even tho they own their own business. It's a wake up call that gardeners will fight back.
Sally - thanks for posting that link. I'll check it out. Was just reading earlier how SF is suing Monsanto for polluting SF bay with PCBs. I'm not a Monsanto fan either and am gratified that fewer farmers are purchasing their seed.
