It's great that you're keeping the exercise and diet going, Kelli. I know how hard that is.

That's great Anna, keep up the good work!

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours in the garden deadheading and pulled a few weeds. Today I am doing laundry, changed the bed, lots of up and down stairs with 4 loads. Blinking

Thank you. The diet isn't going as well. My appetite caught up with the rest of me and I want to eat more. I almost feel sick between meals sometimes and I have trouble falling asleep on an empty stomach. I have to soon go back for my 6 month blood test. There is a theory that some people do not have the chemical that tells their brain when they are full. I might be one of those people. If I eat a normal amount, I am never satisfied. If I eat a lot, I don't really feel full until two hours later. Drinking a lot of water to fool my stomach has never worked.

I can relate, Kelli. I love to eat, and I eat too much. Mostly I eat healthy stuff, but too much of it. But you've done so well, I hope you can stick to it. You deserve a lot of credit. And the exercise is so good for you, not only for weight loss but also for your overall health. Keep up the good work!

I didn't go to the gym today, but I got a lot of exercise. I worked in the yard for hours. I am also making a bolognese sause so I was running in and out of the house all afternoon to stir the sauce, then back to yard work. My strength training for the day was flipping my compost. What a job! I'm exhausted.

I got another pail of apples from our neighbor's trees and am cooking them up right now. Just got them all cored and cut up into smaller pieces. Yum. Fresh sauce.

That's what I want to do tomorrow, Margaret. I worked most of today. And you need a day like that every now and then.

Anna, I haven't had homemade applesauce in years. It sounds good.

Well, I don't make alot of work out of it................core apples, cut into smaller chunks, cook in my small roaster, then put through the food mill to get the skins off. Easy-peasy.

I woke up with a leg cramp at 5 a.m. Sad Very discouraging. Every time I think I'm over this it happens again. The calf usually tightens on the 2nd day after and remains tight and painful for about a week, so I won't know until tomorrow if that's going to happen. I was planning to go to the gym this morning but now I definitely won't, I'll rest that leg today as much as possible.

This is the first one in months, and in the left leg where it rarely happens. Depressing.

Margaret, I have taken psyllium and some other stuff that is supposed to make you feel full. It didn't work.

We went hiking for two hours yesterday. It was pretty strenuous. Even DH agreed that we did that one once and can say that we did it, we don't have to do it again. We were surprised at how many people were there. We must have seen 20. For us on our hiking trips, that is a lot. Most of them were a lot younger than us. I would do that trail again if there was a fire. There are wonderful wildflowers the spring after a fire.

Karen, sorry to hear that you had another bad cramp, Sad I hope it gets better sooner than later. I have been pretty good this week, last week I had to reduce the Symbicort doses again as my legs would try and cramp at night, thankfully never had a real bad one, I did have to get out of bed and walk around the house for about 5 minutes, that really helps.

Kelli, too bad the psyllium and other stuff didn't help you. Sounds like a great hike that you had yesterday, keep up the good work, that should help you at least keep the weight off that you have already lost. Thumbs up

mcash70 said:That's for sure, Rita, I don't how they decide on the date, other than the fact that harvest is pretty well done by then, unlike the states where you have a wide range of harvest times. At the same time it is good as there shouldn't be snow on the mountain passes so safer for the kids, kids I say, he is 58 and she is 50, but still my kids, eh. Hilarious!

Our Thanksgiving is much later. Good I think for Turkey cooking and having the oven on most of the day.

Lily Dog and I both went for our usual daily exercise walk. Then I worked out in the garden some and I did a small amount of laundry. That was my exercise for today.
