That's just beautiful, Janice. Someday maybe I'll get a camera that can get shots like that!
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White

We usually have 4 to 5 regular visitors in our garden. Being so territorial as they are one ends up chasing the other away or makes a close guard over our garden from the city trees, then they make a quick dive bomb towards the nectar feeders or at the Kniphofia blooms

March 1 hummie photos! They have finished off the nectar on the other feeder, now they are sipping off this one..
Quite a windy day too...amusing how they hold on against the wind!
I was outside and saw the Black-crested Titmouse on the hummer feeder. Then here came the hummer...stopped when it saw the bird and flew around nearby. The bird finally left and the hummer came up to use it. I couldn't help but wonder what the hummers think when they sees birds using their feeder!

We are having very strong winds today gusting between 25 to 40mph..but life goes on with the hummies..my feeders are busy with the hummies balancing themselves as they try to get their drink, the super quick fluttering of their wings at times make them seem to be wingless and floating on air
