The little crocus stems are flopped over because of the 2" of snow (now mostly gone), but the little iris stems are still holding on.

Today I cleaned all the veggie garden beds, added manure and some fertilizer... one I had to cover with black plastic so it will be nice and warm when I need to plant it... moved all ws containers to a better area that gets sun but lots of shade later ...

My compost bins are still frozen... I have 2 for 2012 and 1 for 2013... this one I will keep adding to it this year... but I will have for this year so I will not buy it... finally!

My mini daffs are blooming

Crocus 'Remembrance'...these guys are HUGE and they are the correct color for my berm and if it was 'George' that was blooming with them it would have looked AWESOME

I really need to get out and concentrate on getting that chickweed controlled.... I hate that stuff!

annoying but shallow roots make it easier to pull.

I use my circle hoe on those.. gets rid of them quick
