Queen of the Night and Don Quichotte are a good combo to remember. They scale nicely together and they bloom together. Thumbs up

Thank You!

I was hoping they'd bloom together and they did! Hurray!

Now to cut some and bring them in....

LorettaNJ said:That's a nice shot of the ladybug hiding in the lewisia. Pretty trout lily too. They aren't showing here yet. We have them wild in the woods. This year I'm going to take some because the town DPW treats the environment carelessly. The area where the trout lilies are has been driven over and dumped on. We'll see what comes back.

I always have homes for Ladybirds if they want to stay!

I have a real fondness for Erythronium. E.dens canis was happy at my last house but disappears here Shrug!

I don't think Erythronium will stick around here either, longk. Too many squirrels digging around for one and I'm guilty too. I always forget what is there and tags are always moved around.
Nice show, Julia. Pulmonaria is just breaking ground here. That tulip is interesting. I like how the bloom matches the variegation.

No blooms yet but the bulbs and Hellebore are breaking ground. Cleaned out all the gardens today and tried the new Preen extended control that is supposed to work for 6 months. I tried the corn gluten last year and it did nothing, never had so many weeds.

They are beautiful. Julia and make a wonderful color combination. I must get some darker colored Hellebores!

These opened up today --
Columbine Cardinal Songbird FFE

These keep blooming and they're spectacular!! The newly opened ones have a delightful light rose smell. I can't wait to get these in the ground in my new garden area!

Congratulations on that seedling, Bob. That is a special one!
Longk, you have an interesting selection of plants. Pere David is something else. I can already tell I wouldn't be able to keep that one alive.
