Currently here it is sunny and 31°, with a high of 43° predicted for here. It looks like winter has finally arrived to California. It says "RealFeel" 19°!

high 30s today & rain next week. I would rather see snow melt than evaporation which does no good for water in the ground.

It got up to 40 here today, snow is melting, rain predicted for the next 3 days, then back to cold. That should make thing interesting.

This morning it was close to freezing. Frost on the grass and frost on the roof of my neighbors garden shed. Then it was clear and sunny so it warmed up considerably. But as soon as the sun gets low, brr.

Today I noticed that we got 2" of rain this last storm. It was a high of 45°. Ice was about a half inch thick and melting in the bucket.

It's 40 deg. wet, moist, foggy, and rainy here in Lincoln. The air smells like spring Big Grin and it's too wet to do anything outside. I believe tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 20s. I hope to enjoy the rest of today's weather while it lasts. I have a few good friends in Cambridge, Nebraska telling me that they are on the verge of having a snow blizzard warning. Crying (which is west of me a little ways.)

Please weather, don't make it snow here, it just stopped snowing early last week. Grumbling

Currently it's 46 with a high of 47. Radar shows it's raining here, the radar is wrong. Glare

Drenching rain here. You'd had to have had the experience of 5 years of drought to understand why I may never again complain of rain !

No rain or snow, just cold and damp.

Except for taking garbage to the compost pile and taking out a bag of regular garbage to the can, I worked indoors today.

It finally started sprinkling here around 4:00. Nice gentle sprinkles, can't even hear it (which I miss).

They predicted Up to one inch for today, We already had one and a half inches by 5:00 a.m. It's been raining hard since, so maybe near 2 inches by now. Picture frozen ground with no place for water to go. I have ponds over a foot deep and 100 diameter. When they freeze in a day or two it's going to be treacherous out there for both me and the horses. Not a happy camper right now. Grumbling

Following on weeks of some single digit temps (plumbers in these parts are busier than the proverbial paper hanger....). I was up last night with tornado warnings as a storm front came through. Sirens going off and everyone going to ground. Power was off and I sat in the dark as winds blew objects banging into the house and wished for some calm cold weather again. Sunny today and calm. I wish i had gotten less wind and more rain. One of my kids will come by this weekend and get oak limbs off of iris beds. Somehow i have sprained my right hand and the wooden privacy fence that i had replaced recently blew down in the storm. Grumbling I may replace it with a shorter fence.... Shrug! I am on a hill in a the river valley and it takes full brunt of the storms. Sighing!

I was out of luck, even though it snowed in Cambridge, NE, It snowed here. I guess I will be stuck being inside again. I was just about to run some errands today, but the weatherman said to not drive today, because it would be hard to see the road from a distance since the snow and wind is making it harder for people to see.
Oh goody! Sighing!

Here's some pictures to show you the snow.

The pictures don't look that bad, but when you are driving in it, it's bad.

Hope your hand is o.k.

yes. down again, Tom. Grumbling I have an eight foot fence on the west side that has never failed me but it is a bit sheltered by several trees and my neighbors house and buildings. This one on the east is only six feet high and refuses to live. !!!!
