Can't remember the name of this one but it starts with an M. I got it as a free bonus bulbs from American Meadows last year. Pretty flowers but they are small. But I like it.
Yes, inside till the bloom is over, then outside into garage (big window lets sun fortify foliage) till dried out over summer, then into the ground come fall. Most forced daffodils return blooming outside the following season. Actually every one of my outside daffodils started life inside as forced bulbs. I have an old refrigerator in basement dedicated to forcing (holds 25 6" pots).
Some people are just not as patient for spring to get here . I too have forced bulbs in early spring . I also bring in branches of forsythia and crab to force. Maybe I need to live in a warmer zone
Then there are daffs around and in front of the front yard pond.
And I have daffs in back of a stand of pink flowering tulips.
Another way I use daffs in the garden is to mix them with a stand of tulips. Especially red ones as I love the red and yellow color combo. And here in this section I have tied it all together wuth a stand of daffodils all by themselves up on the topmost section.
