Winter does not want to leave us. Took some pics today even though it was so cold I could not wait to get back inside.


In the front I have lots and lots of daffs but only the earliest are up and showing some blooms.


Most of the daffs are buds only.


Back by the serviceberry shrubs the daffs really look like winter.


More promises of spring in this bed but the daffs are not open and the shrubs are not even showing leaf swells yet.

Looking good Rita! I can't wait to see all of your spring bulbs in bloom.

I am hoping once I get out in the garden more again that it might be easier to get off more weight. And I want to see my flowers so badly.

The Maria daffs started to open today. I really love this variety.

More daffodils are showing their lovely blooms. These are way up in my backyard.

Anyone else have short daffodils?

Our weather has been way below normal and winter long.
The first of my daffodills have just started to bloom and they are short
they look to be about half the size as normal.
How do I know they are to short for my normal vase

Itzim growing in a small garden off my patio. It mostly has roses in in so I wanted to add some spring color.

Here is a section of my front yard with these Belgium Block mini terreaces. I have daylilies at each end and daffodils in the middle.

Mine have taken a beating from the spring rains 4'' in two days

It is raining hard here today too. I hope the rain doesn't beat up the daffs too much.

Not all the daffs are growing at the same rate. These here planted last fall are just coming out of the ground now.
