I would like the "time lapse" versions. The regular ones take too long.

Very calming Cal, and beautiful. I could almost use it for meditation! What editing software are you using?

Glad you enjoy it. Smiling
re: software.....I just opened it in QuickTime, used the A/V controls to run it 3X faster, and used BandiCam to record it.
Then took the new video created by Bandicam, opened it in QT, set to run 3X faster, recorded again with Bandicam.
Then one more time for Wild & Crazy Ducks.

Here are 3 versions of the same video when ducks that came yesterday morning.
There's some of everything.....note: see how the females poke to the side as though
to say, "Amscray, Erkjay!" Hilarious!

If you haven't seen them already, here are a few new videos of the ducks,
including a series called Naptime which show a mated pair ("The Ma'Lards")
hanging out after the main flock took off on 2/23.

This is the 3rd year they have come and taken over the pond. They don't nest,
but just nap, eat, etc between times that the flock comes in for breakfast & supper.
We'd love to have baby ducks, but it's impossible to keep them safe with all the other ducks,
as well as raccoons & rats.

We love seeing all the ducks, but it's nice to have some respite from the
constant turmoil....squabbling, poking, chasing, etc., when the Fleet lands. Rolling my eyes.

These are all on my YouTube channel playlist "Real Ducks of Escondido"
Starting with "Mo Ducks =O" https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Then the soothing calm of Naptime...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Smiling

Nothing really going on in the pond yet, though I do need to get in and get the
lilies on a new stronger rack.

Hope everyone is safe & warm. Smiling

Beautiful, Cal. It's fascinating to me how they hide the most colorful aspect of their bodies while they nap--their bills. When they tuck them away like that, they completely blend into the foliage, especially the female.

Thanks for posting these. Lovey dubby

The 2020 pond is shaping up nicely. Everything seems to find its own niche.
The iris are still floating somehow in 9 ft of water, and rise 8 ft above the surface. Blinking

Here are some sleepy boys in the stillness of the morning.

Beautiful, Cal! Hurray! Your pond pics, slide shows and videos are always beautiful! Thumbs up I believe I owe you an email...keep forgetting once that alert goes away. D'Oh! I'll get to it, though.
