I have done a bit more looking and haven't come up with anything to beat Here Lies Butch, but here are a few more with edges.

First year blooms on these:


Northern Spendor - this one performed beautifully its first year, perfect blooms that opened well even on the coolest of days


Annette's Magic - not particularly toothy its first summer, but so pretty.


Classic Rose - a gift plant, but it seems to be a nice one


In Your Dreams - one I have had for a long time, and it is always a pretty bloom


Snowflake Empress - A lovely white with a slight pink blush. Another one that always looks perfect here


Savannah Royalty - Another newbie to the garden, but it did well its first year

Dana: I like Clockwork's tangerine color and form and that goes for Ina's Fiji too. I noticed on the gallery that Fiji also has a gold edge on its ruffles.....Diana: Yellow is my favorite color so I am struck by the golden ruffles on Dazzling Gold. Zowie!....So many pretty ones and many I haven't seen before. Happy to be introduced to them here............Maryl

This is a seedling that I really love. It is a cross of Barbara Mandrell x Velvet Throne. As it gets older, I expect the ruffles to increase. I hope!

I've got SHAKESPEAR'S RED in 2 different places--I don't even have a lot of space to spare!! Dan says he has hundreds of seedling from SR and that I can have any I want when they bloom. Ohhhhhh, I can't wait!!!

Mia Bella of Gascone is in the same garden as SR - just planted it too

I had Mia Bella and it just didn't like this garden. I don't think it was "evergreen" enough, so it should do well for you, Ginny.
