Hetty, nice triple. I don't recognize it, sorry. Grafted? The plant in tmy photo---I wanted tto let the roots fatten up a bit from having dried so much from hanging so long, I didn't write it down, a month or two. I'm about to dig around it some. Funny that it didn't lose many leaves.

Hi, Jim!!!!

I love this true red, the blooms are huge, too, and the plant is covered with them!

Very nice. When I visit Florida Colors in April, I'll try to find myself a purple one, or something different. So far, I only have pinks. They're lovely, but a bit of colour would a welcome change. Oh, I shouldn't gripe: my Saunta Claus is nice and bright red. However, it is very stingey with its blooms. Time to mix up a nice batch of orchid bloom booster again. They seem to love that stuff.

Take care, all.
Sylvain.

The yellows are still very hard to find. Jonna, there is a guy in Venezuela who grows and exports rare varieties in case you feel like importing some!

I think that one came from Mr Ko a couple of years ago when he was still selling a few plants.Importing a few at a time isn't hard but the shipping costs are fierce.

Khwarunee has a triple white, and a double yellow(that has pink stripes) for USD $27 each. Her plants are big and strong, a good value. She was almost wiped out by the floods last year, but she's still in business and struggling to make a comeback. Here's a link---

$12 plant, $15 packing and shipping. Don't get all bent out of shape about the shipping. Thailand is a long way away.

Mr Ko, adenium_ko, has hunderds of offers for good seeds. I have always had great germination, and now it's spring time, best time of the year to start seeds, no? His shipping is $4, and you can put everything together for that one fee. Hmm, I'm talking myself into buying more seeds!! Some of his mixes are 100 seeds for 99 cents. Ha, if you have a vegetable garden, put in a row of Adeniums, 500 sees for $9, not bad! hahaha

have fun when you can!

Hi.

I have over 100 adenium babies in flats. I'll plant them among my other plants in full sun. I am coming to realize that keeping them in crowded flats isn't doing any of them any good. They have just plain stopped growing. They're healthy and all, but not growing: trying to tell me something.

Plus, I need the space for some silkfloss tree seedlings I have just germinated.

Take care, all.
Sylvain.

Mine are in full bloom these days, finding those columns has really helped me keep them safe and in full sun. I took this pic today, this is the one I was thinking of cutting off the long stem. Now I'm not sure, it's growing small branches in the middle and I think the rest might catch up.

This one is doing better because I've got the drip hose going to it now and it is getting more consistently watered.
