Tee - thanks for that picture! It is indeed a stunning sight.
When we were children we would see cars on the road that had gone to see the bulb-fields and returned with a fresh tulip garland on their front. It is a defining image of Holland for me personally.

I would love to see that sight. I would love to visit The Netherlands even if there were no bulbs. Very interesting country and besides, it has all those great windmills! I read that 90% of the bulbs are exported to the US and China.
I garden for the pollinators.

When we moved to AR, we planted daffodil bulbs in the front yard. Since we have been wintering in FL I have only gotten to see some of them bloom as we usually get back at the end of the bloom period. However, our neighbors tell us they enjoy them, even though we can't.

Thanks so much. Believe me, it was really hard planting those bulbs. There is about an inch of dirt, and then you hit rock! In some instances, I just gave up and planted bulbs in large containers. I love the springtime and many years I get to experience it twice -- once in FL and again in AR.

When I lived in Northern California I used to make the trek to the Gold Country to see Daffodil Hill in Sutter Creek. Beautiful.

I spent a bit of time in Holland years back and certainly the tulips were a memorable sight. And all the flower markets. Did Tulipomania ever stop in the Netherlands? LOL

Hetty, the tulip garland must have been loads of fun to create and "wear".

Hurray! All the photos are so cheerful and wonderful to see.

My Snowdrops (Galanthus) just opened yesterday. Hurray!
They are always the first of my spring bulbs to bloom. They are such tiny, sweet little plants. Lovey dubby

Lynn, love the snowdrops. I have a few mixed in with some muscari, and if I get back to AR in time I get to see them bloom. Hurray!

Team bulbs for sure!! This is what has been waking up in the last couple of weeks for me.
Tropaeolum tricolor

The buds are not completely open so the yellow is not showing making it tri-color
Not sure what the name of this mini iris is.
