Knautia macedonia, WSown last year. Also maltese cross (way too tall this year!) and blue flax, both a few years old but both WSown. Also a few hunks of white snapdragon WSown this year.

Bev, it's been a long time since I started the verbascum, but I think the germination was good. I've read that verbascum can be a pesty reseeder but this one is sterile, it doesn't produce seeds.

The knautia has pretty flowers, but I really like the foliage, too. Now that it's bigger, it's noticeable.

Pretty poppies, Bev. Have you grown them before? Wondering how long they last for you?

I have had some poppies before. They will be gone in the next couple of weeks for the most part. I do like the look of the seedheads, though. I tend to plant them among other things so that I don't have the dreaded bare spots. I'll be collecting seeds from them soon.
Here are some nasturtiums that are at the front of that same bed.

Did you get all of your ws plants in yet? It's steaming hot here today and here I am sticking more into the beds. Had to come in to cool off for a bit.

I didn't have many WSowns to plants this year, but whatever I had has been planted. I finished in May.

The heat is upon us and the ws plants continue to come on. Here's a small dianthus.

Some of the b. buttons. These surprised me since I transplanted them out pretty roughly. I just love them though so I thought I'd try.
