Good morning everyone & thanks for the nice comments. Yesterday was such a busy day here with "all-day" company and a "full house" that I forgot about this banner. I finally remembered when I logged in today. It was taken from an old picture from May 16, 2012. I remember that was a good iris year with ideal weather. Here is the original photo.

And here I have labeled the visible irises in the photo. The dark iris at right in the banner was cropped out when processing. It is a Tasco iris, Shadows Of Night, 2005-2006. Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Shadows of Night')

This season (2018) has been colder than average with snow on the ground this morning. I'm sure better days lie ahead. Crossing Fingers!

I know iris gardeners understand what the average iris goes through weather-wise here in "Little Siberia". This is the iris garden where the plants in the banner are/were located near the top left of the picture. And I know for sure that their growth, bloom, health and increase will be affected if the current weather patterns continue into April. (It does not look good currently.) I know this is a bit off topic, but I feel it's important to make the point that "weather is everything" in the iris gardens. Right now it is a wait & see plan for more weather developments.

Thanks everyone for your comments, thumbs & acorns. The morning snow has completely melted, and I look forward to better weather & irises blooming in April & May. Smiling

Marilyn, short answer is "no" I haven't....yet. I have been busy on other projects so time is everything. If you agree, (and I think you do) I will submit it just to see if there is a response. Some gardener(s) might find it useful. Thanks *Blush* very much. You are always so kind & supportive! Thumbs up
