I do not grow tulsi indoors. For few years now, the tulsi plant grows outside by reseeding. I do not harvest and save them either. I will have to wait for June to see any baby plants. I checked this morning as well and did not see any.
I will check with some of my friends who grow them indoors and see if I they have seeds to spare.

Sonya

I checked with couple of my friends. Their plant is not seeding right now.
One of them suggested that baby tulsi plants are sold at a very nominal price at the indian temples.

Anyone want a Persicaria polymorpha? Cleaning leaves from around it, realized I need to trim it back, by cutting the root ball on one side before it grows too far into a shrub.

I brought one last year, though I don't remember who took it and whether it lived.

It gets really big, but it makes a very majestic background plant, for where you have lots of space.

Linneal - I got the Persicaria polymorpha last year! I wasn't the person who requested it, but I think they weren't able to attend due to the rain and I took a lot of leftovers after the event. I don't have a big enough spot with full or even part sun for a plant that size, so I stuck it in a corner with fairly dense shade. I thought it might not survive, but it did! I'm curious to see what will happen. I've read that it can grow in shade, but it will flower less and might get floppy. So maybe you or someone else will find that information helpful when considering where to plant - it will be happiest in full or part sun but it will do alright in shade.

Thank you for sharing this plant with me!

Love persicaria! Do not know it is not more popular. Mine in fairly dense shade , blooms well and does not flop.
Any interest in aconitum from this group?

jqsen, I have you down for the Persicaria. I love this plant! I didn't know it would still bloom in shade. I have mine in mostly sun. I chop the side branches heavily to make it more vase-shaped.

Ellen, I would love some aconitum.

I have noted requests for Persian onion. Thank you.

Anyone have creeping phlox other than light lavender? I had dark pink but I killed it.
