Beautiful pictures everyone. Lovey dubby Hurray!

We had our first cold night last night,it's suppose to be cold again tonight. Then it's going back into the high 70's & low 50's at night. It's crazy, cover plants or bring them inside for 2 nights of cold weather Shrug!

Greg,May i ask what site you ordered more plants from? Lovey dubby

T-mail me greg, but if they are cold hardy i see no need to wait until spring, especially with the weather here.Who knows next year we could skip spring and go straight into a hot summer.Nothing surprises me any more.Night before last it was in the mid 30's and tonight it's suppose to be in the mid-high 40's.The temp's are going back up,it wasn't funny having to move plants for 1 night of cold weather.

I want to see the winter colors of my semp's, 'blue spruce' & 'angelina' but it has to actually get cold first!! Whistling

Oh Laszlo, thank you so much for that video link. I did not know they did that way when coming in contact with water.
I have never collected delosperma seeds, is that how you do it? Then dry them? Or just harvest the dry heads for later sowing?

Harvesting dry core. Crumble on top of the fine gravel. Light to germinate the seeds. Do not allow the medium to dry. I hope you understand.

Your instruction are very clear Laszlo. Thumbs up

Should I store the seed in the refrigerator until spring, and then sow them?

I have already found a few minute seedlings popping up in the bed of delosperma. They are so tiny that I don't know that they will make it through the winter.
Plus they are from hybrids, so not sure what they will produce?

Beautiful video Laszlo. The color of Red Mountain is dazzling.
I love Red Mountain. Mine is still blooming after 2 hard frosts.
And I found more tiny seedlings coming up, when I was outside this afternoon.
