Yes it did but didn't get a picture. Darn! Maybe it will send out a few more.

I wonder if it was D. basuticum? That one doesn't have a very long bloom season, spring to maybe early summer.

Could be, It did just finish blooming just a short time ago. Everyday said need to get a photo and never did.

Yep, my basuticum already bloomed. I think I want to stay with the free blooming ones from now on. Mesa Verde will bloom until killing frost, as will cooperii.

I bought the Wheels of wonder and Jewel of the desert collections from the sedum garden. All mine from those died this winter. I'm taking cuttings this year. They send very small plants but healthy.

I also put these in containers so I can move them out of the rain or into the greenhouse if it gets really cold.

I have the Jewel of the Desert collection. This is my first year with them. I'll have to wait to see how they come through a winter.

The are on the small side. Wonder if that will change as the plant mature?

Lynn I don't think the blooms get larger, I just think they get more of them! I have a friend who has one, which is maybe 3 years old, and this year its covered in little blossoms, which are totally pretty! (I took a cutting!! I think its Topaz, but not 100% sure)

Good to know Greg. The colors of all three are lovely. I do hope they will bloom the entire growing season.
