Thank you, Debra! Those afternoon blooms. I've yet to see the fresh newly opened bloom. Maybe this morning.

Child Of Atlantis--First flower ever--I know Nikki has been waiting to see this one.


Everybody Loves Earnest--I believe Earnest is our smallest flower so far. It is much more orange than this.

I did have a few new named ones to bloom this morning:
'Tennyson': First bloom ever in my garden, not exactly what I was hoping for.

'Orange Velvet':First bloom of the season on this one.

'Missouri Memories': First bloom on this one this year.

'South Sea Enchantment': First bloom of the season on this plant, it looked much better in the garden than in the photo.

'El Desperado': A little late opening this morning but these are the first blooms on this plant this year.

Thought I would share this one again.

Larry, that bloom of Tennyson looks very pale for that cultivar. I hope the bloom improves for you as it goes along. Tennyson is a favourite of mine.

This is the only daylily I have ever purchased just because of the name. It goes from my grandfather to my great grandson, so I am hoping it does improve.

I can't believe how much our plants have grown in the last week. Lots of rain,
lately, hot temps, and a little fertilize has made it so. It will be a while longer
before bloom time though, but I can feel some love for yours.

This one is listed as a double. However the first bloom for me has always been a single bloom.

'Buddy's Gloria' : First bloom on it this year.

'Panic In Detroit: Another first bloom of the year on this one.

'Night Wings': It's first bloom of the year.

'Fooled Me': Also its first bloom of the year.

'Grace From Above': Fist bloom this year on it.

'Heavenly Velociraptor': First bloom ever in my garden on this plant. This plant had two large bloom open and the scape was no strong enough to hold them up. I had to stake this one, it is the first plant this year I have had to stake, maybe when it settles in more the scapes will get stronger.

'Out of Darkness': First bloom ever on this plant in my garden.


Edited to add one:
Somehow I overlooked this new bloom ,a first ever in my garden, and one I was really high on. No so much the bloom, even though I do like it, better than most of the blooms on my 'Beautiful Edgings'. It is the stats on this plant that made me want it in my garden. I have already been out dabbing pollen around.
