Arlyn - actually they really didn't raise the prices like they said they would. Most things were still $2-$3 dollars. But those $4 dollar ones - now that is only for the rich!

Would the list, whether it's current or not, be helpful to determine what MAY be available? (I suspect with the two hurricanes and all the rain we've had - and are predicted to receive this winter - there will be some that are no longer available.)

Casey - Gabe and I were discussing that too. Since we all lost quite a few we wondered if they had or if the iris have been there so long they will survive anything.

The list will give you a good idea of what is there, though not all are available every year. If the stock is low they won't dig them. I noticed last year that after the HIP's dig that there were a lot that were unavailable.

Could you share the list? Pretty please.

If I'm reading right, you can dig Thelma irises while they're blooming?

I've bought irises from a local lady for a long time in bloom. The local lady always tells me to cut the blooms and enjoy them inside. I've never done that and they've been just fine.

Thelma's daughters go out and dig after you fill out your list. They're fast too especially with the extreme sun and humidity. It's truly a brutal job honestly considering there's only two diggers sometimes. Some patches are loaded with 50+ rhizomes, so cultivars May only be 1-3 left. If low count they won't dig it
