Thelma's daughter Faye digging orders. She's equip with a fanny pack, a mini spade, rubber bands, and markers to label rhizomes by numerical order on your order form.

You should, you gave some to me a couple of years ago. This is Wild West looking much nicer than the rain soaked version! Planted it in my front yard this year.

Lilli - since there are so many iris at Thelma's that are becoming rare I feel the need to get as many ID'd and into databases as possible. There are some real beauties there. This year we skipped taking pics of some of the blooms because she has so many that are similar in color. For example - she must have 80 or 90 copper colored iris, and even more purple and white plicatas. It was becoming too much deja vu.

The sheer number is also why you have seen Gabe and I post on occasions "oh, another purple and white plicata.". It became a running joke after our first Thelma visit.
