My dearest Cherie, it was 106.1 F today and the hottest day of the year! This is far to hot for us Englishmen who are not used to such weather. I too like some colour away from the same plants all the time.
So here is one for you!

Neil, this is my granddaughter Ariana in her Azteca dance costume with her Uncle Ryan, my youngest son.

She's 6 and my son is 21. She did a recital that day at Fiesta Waukesha, hence her outfit. Love watching her dance especially some of the Hispanic dances, Some quite intricate for a 6 year old but she does wonderful.

Dear Cherie, she looks quite wonderful and you must be very proud of her? I have been making bread as my nieces are coming to my mothers today, as they are off to Turkey on Monday on Holiday (vacation), for you non English speakers! It is too hot here at 106F and i am having a few cold beers, to say the least! Why are you not on Skype anymore?
Tell ED I am useless at Golf, but I can cut the greens and fairways for him and make a good caddy! But more importantly I know where the 19th hole is, the bar! Rolling on the floor laughing
However if ED wishes rifle shooting, I am fairly good at that, for I don't miss.
I will put a picture on when i return of waggle dance, which is a honey beer and is more than gorgeous!
Be good.
Tons of love.
Neil.
P.S. this new plant is called Choisya X dewettena 'Aztec Gold' I thought it was apt! It is a hybrid of the Mexican orange blossom!
Group hug Lovey dubby Angel The picture of you all is wonderful, have you a new camera?
Neil.

The picture was taken by my son's girlfriend. She takes wonderful photos and her photo bags (she has 2) is filled with much as I suspect as you have, She takes her photography as serious as you and the look of the equipment shows it. Should as I believe she has a few thousand dollars wrapped up into it all.

Skpye? weeeeeeeeeel I don't want anyone to see me on my off days. Some days I don't do anything with the hair as the humidity just makes it look as I just got out of the shower.

Ed shoots nothing but pool, darts and horseshoes. Doesn't even golf any more.

We had a brief rain shower earlier thiss morning but now the sun is out and the forecast is for 105 today.

Dear Cherie, I do not take my photography seriously! I keep telling you I am but an amateur, that is all. I love doing it, and I have amazing equipment, but it is fun and gets me out of the house! I admit to having a new camera as I use both now, but the new one is a lot more expensive than the other one by several hundred pounds. It is good in low light, so I could take pictures almost in the dark.
I shall show you!
Tons of love.
Neil.
This is some thing that looks like an Army camp at Hampton Court Flower Show and was very dark inside. although it does not look it. Nobody could get a picture as their cameras would not go to that low light level.
I set mine and look what happened.
This is the outside.

Dear Brenda, I hope you are well! Most sorry they did not have vodka or cranberry juice there. But they did have crab served with warm beer bread. British crab of course, which is the best there is anywhere.
I have a Canon 550D or the Rebel T2i as you call it in America which is brilliant as it is tough and durable. I use that for most things all the time, but my friend who owns the camera shop had a Canon 800D for sale so i had to have it!
My 550D is 21.8 megapixels but the 800D is 39.8 megapixels. It still uses the same lenses as the 550D, but has an amazing ability to take pictures in low light without a flash! It is not as durable as the 550D so I only use it sometimes, as carrying two cameras around with all the equipment is hard work. It is very good at getting shots that would be difficult or near impossible on the 550D!
Did you see my Article on Chelsea it is at http://garden.org/ideas/view/N...

Dear Susan, I have not finished Part 2 about Chelsea yet! The problem is the Olympic games, which has wrecked most of our lives for those who live near London. We were told not to use our cars to get to work but to walk, cycle or run in. Then not to go to certain areas so the visitors can enjoy it. The businesses is certain places are up in arms as they have closed the roads off to allow VIP cars only so nobody can go there, and that is why the restaurants and pubs are simply not getting anyone in them and are going broke. Then we were told not to use the internet as the visitors need to use it, so they have lowered our bandwidth on it. This means at certain times of day the British people cannot use it!
So as you can imagine trying to do an Article is nigh on impossible, as uploading photos takes time. The whole thing about the games is a nightmare for us, for it took my wife 3 hours to get the 6 miles to work yesterday, which is terrible.
The games have cost each person in the UK £3500, and that is a lot of money for something most of us did not want at all. As soon as this catastrophe is over I will finish Chelsea and start on Hampton Court!
Group hug
Neil.
