It makes me SO happy to see more and more familiar names! Sultry, Mossy, Mustbe, Carol, Alana, Beth,Tessie, Christopher, and other names that aren't coming to mind, right now. Toolbelt, you too! You're always so helpful with structure advice, drip systems, and such. I know I've loved your posts over the years. We definitely want Niptress (Cynthia) over here, as well as Ingrid. Roseseek(Kim Rupert) and Paul Barden would be wonderful additions, as well. Pity, what Houzz did. Paul had just recently again begun posting pictures of his incredible roses there, ( his own creations and those he grows ). Then the whole mess happened over there, and that put a stop to it. I don't blame him. It was amazing to see his photos while it lasted, though. Since he's both rose breeder, AND professional photographer, his photos are amazing. (I'm partial to his roses, btw
). 'Mel's Heritage being my absolute favorite!
I just love seeing everyone here!
Virginia, my roses are doing better than I am, physically, but this isn't really the place to get into my new health issues. I hope you're well, I've thought of you SO often. I can't count the times that I've posted the words, " I sure miss Virginia!" over there!
I love Silver Cloud, as well! I have a pretty varied selection of roses. I love the "russet" ones, although they can be fussy. Thankfully my dry climate is pretty good to them, disease wise. Irish Creme has been a real winner here. I'm also so excited to be receiving a budded 'Honey Dijon' rose in January of 2019. This is a Mother's Day gift from my daughter. I can't wait, and know it's a rare find these days. Maybe Beth has it, as her place is a database of roses in itself! She certainly helped nurture my love of the "oddball" colors.
I'm going to check out the database and see if I grow any roses that could use some photos. I was fortunate enough to receive some special Bourbon roses(and others) from a collector who was downsizing this past January. Therefore, I may have pictures of roses that currently don't have any photos with them. I'll see, and add what I can. Have a great day everyone! Lisa
