I forgot to post what Ann Bell sent me. Here are her 2 introductions that she sent me. I had to BEG her to get her to introduce these. She is so modest.

Thumb of 2012-04-14/Ladylovingdove/cc9c0f Thumb of 2012-04-14/Ladylovingdove/d24140

I sent her a daylily named for my son, Guy Douglas (a Mary Gaskins seedling that she let me intro.)

Thumb of 2012-04-14/Ladylovingdove/6cbed4

And I sent her an iris named for me, Dorothy Parker (I had a friend/hybridizer in the iris society)

Thumb of 2012-04-14/Ladylovingdove/4ab1b3

We traded other stuff too.

OMG I almost forgot, I got 3 fans of Ehren Thomas, so I sent her one and kept 2 fans. Well this morning it bloomed for me. I was dumbstruck, it was so gorgeous.

Ehren Thomas, different views of the same flower

Bobbie, we do have a trade forum here on ATP - http://garden.org/forums/view/... I think it would be ok to have some trading in the daylily forum. I should check with Dave and Trish to see how they want that handled. They may want the trades kept to the trade forum.

also, Dave is in the process of something really cool.... He is working on a way for us to make a listing of our plants, then we will be able to click a button to add them to a trade list. So if your looking for a certain plant, you will be able to go to this area and do a search, and find who has the plant you want.

Mona, Diamond Diva has the most diamond dusting I have ever seen on any daylily. You must have really good eyes to pick up on that.

Thanks to all for your gracious comments.

Stephanie, I have had them on the Lily Auction several times. That is where Fred won his plants. I won't be listing any more. After I finish shipping, I can take a better inventory to see if I want to sell more. Send me an email if you want me to let you know at that time.

Tersesa, I sold some in November and December and again about three weeks ago. Thanks for the kind comments. You are so right about the weather. Yesterday it barely got to sixty and drizzled all day and today it is warm, sunny and absolutely delightful. Great day to work outside.

I spent a delightful couple of hours with Memory Jordan this morning in Lugoff, SC. I came away with the following which are mostly 3-5 fans. A couple were over 7 fans and then she wouldn't let me pay for the order saying she'd come visit me during bloom and maybe we could trade but "really, don't worry about it". The fans of Doyle Pierce were so large I didn't have room for the plastic tag to get through the hole to wrap around it.

Aztec Ways
Laugh at Me
Bill Norris
Imperial Elegance
Green Rainbow
Impish Delight
Rootbeer Truffle

Bit of Blue - listed at $7!!
Beauty of the King
Fluttering Beauty

They have over 1100 varieties of DL and haven't divided them in 3 years. If anyone is interested I'll send an electronic copy of their catalog.

I also rec'd a box from Pat Cochenour today with 3F of Octomom and a bonus of 3F of Doublegum.

What a great daylily day. I know where I'll be tomorrow. Hurray!

Are the Jordans still listed in Eureka??? I haven't got a new Eureka in years but I did notice that they had the best prices on the plants I was looking for.

I don't know if they're in Eureka or not. They've slowed down a lot so I'm thinking probably not. I asked Memory if she wanted to have a sale and she said "No!". She's having a problem with her foot and it's harder for her to get around but they're taking orders. If ya'll want something I'll go dig for her. Thumbs up

I'm not connected to them in any business way.

Wow the Jordans certainly have a lot of daylilies if I didn't already have so many I would take a look, but I have more already coming soon.

Speaking of the lily auction I just recieved a package yesterday with a Davisson daylily No Boys Allowed and they also sent Rev It Up another Davisson as a bonus. I am getting some Davisson daylilies for the first time this year and also have an order coming from Judy a couple of her new intros.

Plus I saw Dot's iris on the lily auction and just had to bid on them her package also came yesterday with Altered State, Beat The Heat, Kissing Circle and Trillion. What really caught my eye was her photo of Trillion and of course then I started checking out the others. The are very healthy and I am looking so forward to seeing them bloom in my garden next year. I will remove or at least thin out my old iris that I didn't keep records of the names and plant these beautys. Now if it would just stop raining I could plant.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
