Our unseasonably warm weather has resulted in several flowers opening way ahead of schedule. Here are a few.

Cindy, I really like the early tulips. Are they perennal tulips?/ Not sure if perennial is the correct word. They come back year after year even here in the south. I've see the word heirloom used I think. Darned brain just won't get the right word.

Anyway I really like them. Thanks for sharing all your beauties, Mona

Thanks Rita and Mona.

Mona, I have had the tulips a very long time. They do come up every year and they have kind of unique striped foilage. I really don't know exactly what variety they are. I bought them so many years ago that I really didn't keep track of what types of flowers I purchased then, not like I do now.

Oh, I wish I had a lot of hyacinths! When we made the flower bed out front, I know the one hyacinth I have had for years was moved out in the new bed, but I have not seen it this year. Thumbs down Crying

Thanks for starting a thread to take us through the season! It is great seeing all the color in everyone's garden this time of year!

I don't have any hyacinths. Each fall I think of getting some to plant but I never do.

All your blooms are beautiful. I especially love the crocus; I'm a sucker for purple.

I think I can almost smell the hyacinths.. Spring flowers offer so many wonderful fragrances. Love the tulips. Thanks for the photos. Please keep posting them,

Lovely! My hyacinths never bloom well so I bought some bulbs that were on clearance in fall and kept them in the fridge all winter. I stuck them in some pots and they've recently started to bloom! Look forward to seeing more of your pictures. Everything here seems almost two months early...the crabapples near where I work are beginning to flower. Normally that's not until May

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately my hyacinths have really declined in bloom over the years. Blooms used to be a lot fuller and more of them. I haven't added bone meal in awhile. That may help.

Lovely blooms Cindy!

The weather is real ugly here today, cold, windy with light snow or rain showers. Angry
