Your plant looks great tarev!! I'm glad it's finally putting out some leaves for you.

I'm in zone 7a/b, my plants don't start loosing their leaves until I take them in for the winter, and I stop watering them. My white pudica lived in the basement all winter by the window, and kept on blooming inside.

It is just weird weather here..our city trees are starting to lose leaves..one of my adneniums is also starting to do the same...oh well..as long as the plumies continue to live and grow more leaves am happy for now. Smiling Well on the brighter side, my other plants are doing catch up, enjoying the unseasonably cooler days.

Maria, I have just gotten home from a 7 day trip to Idaho, running the Salmon River. Your 'Celadine' really looks great. The plant kept almost all its fully-grown leaves and is now growing new leaves, both good indicators that it is a healthy, growing plant. Hurray! You have probably already seen how I handle my plumeria to over-winter, but if you need help with yours, let me know via Tree-Mail.

I will spend the bulk of the next two days shipping out plants. I am way behind!

P. S. When I flew into Minneapolis, MN for my plane-change, the temperature was 100F! I had no idea that an area that gets minus 20-30F could get that hot in the summer. I talked to guy in the airport who's home was just outside of Minneapolis and he said that half the people did not even have AC. 100F without AC is hard to fathom, at least for someone living in the deep south.

Hello Ken! Big Grin

I hope my Celadine holds on to its leaves just awhile longer. It is cooler these past few days, and windy too.

Now if only my other cuttings will behave nicely as well, then I will be really happy. Smiling

Tarev,
I've just started a little experiment with a few new cuttings comparing 2 different ways for rooting. On one hand, of course, I have the traditional "put it in a 1 gallon pot and watch for 6" leafs to grow". But, after watching a couple of video's on "bagging" I wanted to try it out. Have you seen this? Here are a couple of pictures to give you an idea of the finished product. If you want me to further explain how i did it, let me know. The claim is that it's easier to see the roots (no guessing or relying on leafs) and faster; especially if you don't live somewhere that has the needed humidity.
I will keep you posted.

That's interesting, Mike. Makes sense as long as there is not too much moisture trapped in the bag. Keep us posted as to the outcome.

Sorry about the pictures being upside down! You wouldn't believe how hard it was taking those pictures standing on my head!

Mike, I have the same problem when posing pictures. Even though the picture is correct when I upload it, it comes out on its side as often as not. If it is rotated left when I preview it, I just go back to my Easy Share site, rotate it to the right, and it shows correctly when I preview it. I then delete the one on its side. I don't know any other way to correct this upload "error". Perhaps someone else can help with that problem.

I have a question..so how far along do most of you give fertilizer to your plants? I have been reading and most says to stop by Sept. to prepare for dormancy Blinking
