Final pics of the Dar. Walnut Valley x Ascda Blue Sky, all buds are open.

correction - it is x Ascda Blue Sky, not Vanda.

I just learned the following/ nice to see the parentage spelled out!
Darwinara Walnut Valley is Dar Charm x Vf Virgil.

Dar Charm is Neof falcata x Vasco Tham Yuen Hae
Vf Virgil is Neof falcata x V cristata

Ascda Blue Sky is Ascda Meda Arnold x V coerulescens

So the shape is right with this parentage.
And the fact that it blooms while still small is right, too.

Those will be great pics, Ursula. Meanwhile, I'll post a couple. Here is one of my Onc. Psychopsis orchids. Both came through the winter and are putting up more spikes. The single spike on each plant has been pumping out blooms for two years now. The pool makes a nice backdrop for it.

The Grammatophylum scriptum is beginning to open. Here is the plant, or at least part of it. The spikes are 3 feet long and contain more than 50 blooms.

I got this little vanda just about open. 2nd flowering for it, last one was only 5 months ago with 2 flowers, now has 3. They open really light purple and turn dark purple/blue over time.

Very strange about the posting Kathy! You mentioned it in the Iris thread too. Perhaps Dave wrote that into the code somewhere?
Nice posts! The C luteola blooms last a long time.

Jim, the Grammatophylum scriptum is totally awesome, the single bloom is very attractive. Love the Psychopsis too.

Bree, good looking Vanda!

I'm beginning to think I'll have to get a Den 'Nora Tokunaga'. It is so pretty, and so far, Dens do well for me.
