My Epic El Hatillo 'Pinta' is so sad but still alive. I adore this plant so I hope I can bring it back. If not, I may get another.

Very nice, Ursula, especially the Stenocoryne.

I have some to post but no time right now. With everyone in agreement, mom weent to stay in a Hospice House. My job is to visit often and clean out her ALF appartment before we get hit with another month's rent. Unfortunately, the only bed available is located in Sun City Center, some 60 miles from me. Nothing is easy. I am full of emotions but they are all scrambled up.

The photo contest opens today. You can add entries until July 31st. Then the judging will start. There are links to it in the top box of the Home Page and on the right side box of every page. Let me know if you need different categories. I'm just figuring this out.....

Look who is open yet again. Coelogyne lawrenceana with it's large flower and nice scent! I'm keeping this inside so it stays open longer.

Wish either of those would bloom here (I have them both)! Maybe I should check them. Your Jumellea is outstanding. What a happy plant.

My Orchids are really getting washed this morning as downpours are moving through!

Thanks! You know, the Jumellea was from Hoosier Orchids years ago. I wish they were still around!

Whole plant. Every time I turn around there is another bud open. The top of the spike was bent down and I've propped it up with supports and a toothpick. Hilarious! We'll see if any of the top flowers bloom with this technique!

BTW, it's about to pour here too but I already sprayed so I will cover them this time. I have lots of perennials from a local nursery that no longer exists. It's so sad. There are at least 3 orchid sellers that I miss badly.

Nice blooms!

My little Cattleya Brabantiae is blooming. This is a hybrid of loddigesii x aclandiae and certainly easier to bloom then aclandiae.
